How to Repair a Computer

If you want to repair your computer then the first thing is to know the problem of your computer. It’s a necessary process to be taken as you are going to repair your computer. We can identify the problem of computer using a method called POST (Power On Self Test). When you turn on your computer your computer gives beep/beeps. This will show you what’s the problem with your computer.  This will navigate you to find your problem:

Identify Problem:

• 1 short beep shows that the computer is okay.
• 2 short beeps show that RAM is out of order.
• 3 long beeps identify that Keyboard adapter is not okay.
• 4 short beeps show that System Timer isn’t okay.
• 5 short beeps show that Processor is not okay.
• 6 short beeps show that Keyboard Controller isn’t okay.

Problem in Ram:

If you’re having problem in ram. then there is no way to repair it. The only thing to be done is to buy a new one. But be careful for that as your system should be compatible with new Ram. Check FSB of your ram to compatible with your Processor.
